Pizza with a Purpose
Providing pizzas for Dorset’s homeless on the streets of Dorset, Meet Street Eat is bringing more than just wood-fired pizzas to those in need—it’s delivering warmth, hope, and a chance for a brighter future. Born from the compassion of individuals working at The Foundry in Poole and inspired by Purbeck Pizza’s legacy, this new initiative seeks to create a supportive community where no one goes hungry.
Hope for Housing Event
In December 2024, the MSE team came together to prepare and distribute 100 free pizzas for the homeless at the Hope for Housing headquarters in Bournemouth. It was a great experience to be part of this initiative, and we’re excited to get involved in more events like this soon.
At the heart of Meet Street Eat is a belief in second chances.
While our immediate focus is on serving delicious, high-quality pizzas to those in need, we aim to grow this initiative to include hands-on culinary training for homeless individuals in the future. By equipping them with valuable skills and experience, we aspire to empower them to build independence and work towards meaningful employment in the hospitality industry. Each pizza we create is a step towards fostering dignity, opportunity, and community.
